Strategies Groups provide opportunities for faculty, staff, graduate employees, students, and community members to connect, build community, share resources, and support a more inclusive University of Oregon. Each group offers a distinct space for connection, advocacy, professional development, learning, and collaboration across campus and beyond. Use this page to learn more about each group, find meeting information, and connect with group liaisons or listservs. Meeting schedules may change by term, so visitors are encouraged to contact each group directly for the most current details.

Asian, Desi & Pacific Islander Strategies Group (ADPISG)
The Asian, Desi & Pacific Islander Strategies Group provides a supportive social space for University of Oregon and community members to connect, celebrate, and take action on issues related to the Asian, Desi, and Pacific Islander diaspora on campus.
Black Strategies Group (BSG)
The Black Strategies Group supports the professional development and social engagement of Black faculty, staff, and graduate students at the University of Oregon. The group also works to foster an inclusive, empowering, and supportive community for its members.
Deconstructing Whiteness Working Group (DWWG)
The Deconstructing Whiteness Working Group brings faculty and staff together to address racism by examining how whiteness and white supremacy shape personal behaviors and organizational systems. The group supports long-term anti-racist thought and action.
Employee Disability and Neurodiversity Affinity Group (EDNA)
EDNA is a community and advocacy space for University of Oregon employees and graduate students who are disabled, neurodivergent, Deaf, blind, or who identify with disability or impairment, with or without a formal diagnosis.
Jewish Faculty and Staff Resource Group
Information about the Jewish Faculty and Staff Resource Group is being updated. Faculty and staff interested in learning more are encouraged to contact the group liaison.
Latinx Strategy Group (LSG)
The Latinx Strategy Group is an alliance of faculty and staff collaborating to improve educational access and equity among Latinx students at UO and in the community. The group supports academic and professional development for Latinx faculty and staff, makes mentoring and advocacy work visible, coordinates with existing support networks, and advocates for expanded resources.
Native American Strategies Group
The Native American Strategies Group is a volunteer coalition of faculty, staff, administrators, students, and community members that meets regularly to communicate, plan, and facilitate a holistic vision of service for the Native community. The group supports institutional capacity-building, intellectual community, curricular offerings, and efforts related to the recruitment, retention, and support of Native students, faculty, and staff at UO.
Sexual Orientation, Attraction, Gender Identity and Expression (SOAGIE)
SOAGIE fosters community and belonging for 2SLGBTQIA+ staff and faculty at the University of Oregon.
