Employee Disability and Neurodiversity Affinity Group (EDNA)

Mission 
EDNA is a community and advocacy space for University of Oregon employees and graduate students who are disabled, neurodivergent, Deaf, blind, or who identify with disability or impairment, with or without a formal diagnosis. 

Who Can Join 
Current and former UO employees and graduate students who are disabled, neurodivergent, Deaf, blind, chronically ill, or who have other disability-related identities or experiences. 

Meeting Information 
Monthly informal meetups are held on the second Friday of each month at noon via Zoom. Meeting notices and reminders are shared through the group’s listserv and Teams group.

  • Advocates against ableism by working toward more inclusive and equitable systems and structures.

  • Does not provide formal disability accommodations, accessibility expertise for UO issues, a facilitated support group, unpaid labor for university units, or public sharing of member names, data, discussion contributions, or disability status.
