Equity Leads Community of Practice
Colleagues who lead the work of removing barriers to excellence and opportunity in schools, colleges and administrative units, meet quarterly to share information and experiences. UO African American Workshop & Lecture Series
In partnership with the Office of the President, this lecture series connects national and global thought leaders with our UO community for the purpose of enhancing teaching, learning, social impact, research and creative activity. Contact: Tracy Bars

We introduce cutting-edge professional development opportunities that are eventually incorporated into broader university systems. Rehearsals for Life offers opportunities for growth through role playing. We also encourage participation in professional development opportunities offered by campus partners including training for Digital Accessibility, and community partnerships with the Islamic Network Group and Project Shema who hold workshops on implicit bias and antisemitism. The President's Diversity Advisory Community Council (PDACC) provides confidential guidance and makes recommendations that advance the mission of the University of Oregon. They meet with the President and other university leaders quarterly during the academic year and once during the summer. Contact: Ruth Huang
