Rosa is the Director in the Center for Multicultural Academic Excellence. In addition to advising, Rosa’s responsibilities include coordination of programs and services, as well as building partnerships and relationships with faculty, staff and other stakeholders in and outside of campus. Rosa is a “Double Duck.” She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Spanish, with a minor in Environmental Studies (1996), and a JD from the UO School of Law (2003). Rosa is a first-generation Mexican American and grew up in Medford, Ore. Outside of work, Rosa loves to spend time at the Oregon Coast with her husband and two young sons.
