What do you like best about working at the University? Getting to walk with students through the toughest and also most joyful moments of being a student, and having the honor of getting to support them along the way. I also work with such amazing colleagues who all want the best for our students, so I love getting to all work together to help students thrive.

What is your best advice for new UO students? Try everything once! Go check out that club meeting, take that random Art History class that you might not be sure of but that your advisor recommended, go to that student event where you might not know anyone - all the things! You really won't know whether something is for you until you try it, and it's also okay to try something and then realize it's not for you. This is the time to discover new interests, new friends, and new things about yourself.

What is your favorite “hidden gem” in Oregon? I love waterfall hikes. Oregon is so beautiful and so green, I feel so grateful for all the hiking opportunities.
