Transition to College

CMAE welcomes new students and works to provide opportunities for community building, integration and connection to campus resources.

Coaching for Faculty & Staff

Through the CoDaC, the Division of Equity and Inclusion  sponsors a range of programs for individual faculty, graduate students, alumni and staff as well as capacity building initiatives with departments, colleges, schools and research units across campus

Academic Engagement 

CMAE advising and retention specialists work closely with students and faculty to provide tools for a successful and rewarding college career. Retention Specialists utilize a holistic approach to advising, coaching and mentoring to support the learning process. They monitor academic progress, assess student needs, and advocate for students through appropriate referral services. We provide a range of retention programs at no cost to the student.

Peer Education and Leadership Development

The PLUS ( Peer Learning for Undergraduate Success) program offers students engagement opportunities in peer leadership, mentoring, coaching, instruction, program coordination marketing and event planning

Scholarship Administration

Academic advising, coaching and other academic services are offered to students in the following scholarship programs. (All students are welcome to utilize our services).

Mentoring

WINGS: A CMAE Mentoring Program provides opportunities for students to interact with faculty, staff, alumni, community professionals and graduate students. This interaction enhances students academic, social and personal growth and development; career and other professional opportunities.

Campus and Community Outreach

CMAE has several initiatives with on and off-campus partners that seek to advance DEI's mission of equity and inclusion

Mini Grants

Apply for mini grants for up to $500 for clubs and organizations whose programs will enhance equity, diversity and inclusion around campus. Apply here.
