Sugam Singh is the Multicultural Academic Counselor & Asian, Desi and Pacific Islander (ADPI) Retention Specialist. Born and raised in Nepal, Sugam spent his formative years in the US earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from University of New Orleans, and Master’s Degrees in Dispute and Conflict Resolution, and International Studies from the UO. As a peace practitioner, Sugam incorporates theoretical and practical knowledge based on equity and justice to advising and addressing challenges faced by the ADPI community on campus and beyond. Outside of work, Sugam loves to travel, cook and eat, and play ukulele.
