Madison Jones is an enrolled member of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, and serves as the Multicultural Academic Counselor & Native American/Indigenous Student Retention Specialist. As a first-generation college student, Jones proudly earned her bachelor's degree in Public Relations at the University of Oregon. During her undergrad, she worked extensively in higher education fulfilling various roles within Student Orientation Programs before serving as an Admissions Counselor for her alma mater upon graduation. In addition to her full-time role, Jones served as a Program Administrator for UO Youth Movement where she organized an annual field day event uniting Indigenous youth in movement, community building and cultural engagement. Driven by her rural upbringing, Madison holds a deep appreciation for the power of community, and hopes to empower all students to pursue their passions. In her free time, Madison enjoys discovering local eateries, photography, solo traveling and spending quality time with her cat, Ophelia.
