I am a Family Human Services major.

Community

Well, this one is tricky. I was born and raised in New York, have my immediate family in New York, and currently have all my stuff in an apartment here in Eugene. For me, though, home is wherever I am when I’m surrounded by people I care for most.

It’s a diverse group, for the most part. Definitely more inviting and safe than Florida.

Experiences

I am stuck in a financial crunch and trying to balance that with my mental health and physical health has been tricky. But I work on campus and I’m often reminded by some of the people closest to me that I need to take breaks and ask for help.
