Jorney Baldwin (she/her) is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians and serves as the Home Flight Academic Advisor at the Center for Multicultural Academic Excellence. She earned her bachelor's degree in Family and Human Services and Public Relations from the University of Oregon in 2023 and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Couples and Family Therapy at the same institution. Before her advising role, Baldwin worked as the Native American Outreach Specialist for the University of Oregon Counseling Services, where she facilitated connections between Native and Indigenous students and counseling resources through outreach and wellness programs, such as drum making, beading, and traditional medicine workshops. She also completed internships at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital and Ghana's Alliance for Reproductive Health Rights. Deeply rooted in her culture and community, Baldwin enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and caring for her pets—Obi, Rennie, and Moses—in her free time.
