Cindy Bandow

Bridge Program Coordinator

Cindy has been a high school teacher for the past twenty years. She felt compelled to help children as others had helped her achieve. Cindy is a master educator, was a member of the District Equity Team, a Journalism and Leadership club advisor. During her summer breaks, Cindy volunteered with the University of Wyoming's Association of Multicultural Scientists (AMS) graduate school program, serving as an assistant to the director.  She is dedicated to education and has worked tirelessly to advocate for all students and has always tried to provide a path to higher education for anyone interested. Cindy believes a successful, healthy, and happy community is a well-educated one. Born and raised in the nation's capital, a curiosity about the rural and natural parts of the country grew with every year. She moved to rural Washington and then eventually made it to Oregon, "because it's the best, and has the most beautiful landscapes."  Cindy enjoys spending any time she can outside, gardening, hiking, camping, boating, and tending to the bees.
