The Courage to Belong
Division of Equity and Inclusion invites students, faculty, and staff to submit original “Where I’m From” poems reflecting this year’s theme: “The Courage to Belong.”
It invites reflection on identity, inclusion, and the ongoing work of creating communities where everyone is seen and valued. Participants will be recognized at the 2026 Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration on January 22, 2026.

Transitions & Imagining “the Next”
Oct. 22 - Nov. 19, 2025
As our workplaces and communities shift, journaling becomes a way to process transitions, hold space for tension, and begin imagining what comes next. The goal is not to erase the difficulty but to grow resilience, restore connection, and envision possibilities together. This 5-week virtual workshop series carves out space for reflection during a season of upheaval. By registering for the opening session, you are agreeing to attend all 5 sessions to the best of your ability. The final session will be in person and will begin with a group luncheon at 11:30 am.
