Through the Office of the Vice President for Equity and Inclusion, UO will provide Strategy/Working Groups logistical and organizational support and collaborate in opportunities for groups to get together. These are university sponsored groups for traditionally underrepresented groups. Meetings will be held once a month during lunch hour. Each group will create its own goals which coincide with the University’s Diversity Initiative and advocates for a specific demographic comprised of faculty and staff communities. Strategy/Working Groups enhance the UO staff and faculty experience through opportunities for intentional cross-campus collaborations, fostering cultural understanding and acceptance, and encouraging engagement, diversity, and inclusion strategies.
