Peer Learning for Undergraduate Success (PLUS)

PLUS Peer Advisors are dedicated to fostering the development of students by providing student perspectives when making decisions and encouraging the successful completion of degree requirements and timely graduation. They contribute to the education of residents by serving as a mentor, role model, and academic resource. They are knowledgeable on the ins and outs of specific majors and getting involved with resources on campus.

 Specific Duties

  • Providing accurate information about CMAE’s vision and goals
  • Connecting students to professional staff and/or campus academic support services and resources
  • Providing information about general education requirements
  • Supporting  students in developing termly/yearly academic goals
  • Verifying majors/minors requirement for undeclared students
  • Connecting students CMAE academic and co-curricular programs
  • Working closely with PLUS Learning Guides to support academic excellence
